We are always pleased to welcome keen, competent players of a suitable standard to the Orchestra as and when vacancies arise.  There is no formal audition, but the conductor and committee reserve the right to ask new players, where appropriate, to undergo a trial period before inviting them to take part in concerts.

Currently players of viola and double bass would be especially welcome to the Orchestra.

The Orchestra rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30pm during term-time, and the subscription for playing members is £45 per year (£10 for students).
