We are looking to appoint a new Principal Horn for the Orchestra.

As one of the wind principals, the First Horn is one of the defining "voices" of any symphony orchestra, therefore finding the right person is important.

Anyone wishing to be considered should contact Jon Box, the Chair to register their interest.

Any interested parties will be invited to lead the section at one or more rehearsals either this term or in the Spring Term. The programme for the Spring Term includes Mahler's First Symphony, so there is ample opportunity to impress. It also gives potential candidates the opportunity to decide whether this is the right ensemble for them.

The appointment will be for a year in the first instance, commencing either summer 2023 or September 2023 for the next season.
