Pre-Castle Concert at Whitchurch  - Tuesday 14th July 

Castle Concert - Wednesday 15th July  7pm start

Rehearsals for 2025 - 2026

All rehearsals are on term-time Tuesday evenings from 7.15 - 9.30pm at Christ Church, Glebe Road, Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury SY3 0PZ. Please try to arrive so that you are ready to play at 7:15pm.

We do try to keep the playing area well-ventilated, with windows open, so please be prepared to wrap up warmly.

Please do be punctual to rehearsals.

Please do write markings in if needed.

Please do come prepared having done at least some work on your part relevant to the rehearsal.

Be inventive and thoughtful with your practise. Slow practise yields huge benefits, as does trying to play difficult passages in a variety of ways. Alex and I are always happy to suggest ideas for passages you might be finding tricky.

Please acquaint yourselves with recordings of the repertoire.
